LIZ MATIMU (MBA, BBM, CPA (K), EXECUTIVE COACH)
Liz Matimu is the Partner, Risk & Business Advisory. She is a graduate of United States International University of Africa (USIU) holding a master’s degree in Business Administration specializing in Strategy and Human Resources and holds a bachelor’s degree of Business Management from Moi University. She is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Reg. No. 10261) and is an Executive Coach, a member of the Academy of Executive Coaches London.
She began her career at CFC Stanbic Bank a member of the Standard Bank Group having held several positions including Home Loans Manager, Acquisition Manager and Learning and Development
Consultant, gaining 10 years’ work experience in the bank. Liz has also worked as a corporate governance consultant with the IFC Group, part of the World Bank, working with the African Corporate Governance teams in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania.
Liz has broad and extensive experience in leading Internal Audit systems reviews, due diligence assessments, forensic audits, human resource management, corporate governance and family business and enterprise. Liz currently serves as a director of Stop TB Partnership chairing the audit and risk committee as well as an Assistant Honorary Treasurer of Kenya Girl guides Association.
