FOUNDING MEMBER AND CURRENT CEO/LEAD PARTNER

FCPA Kimani is a founding member and currently the CEO/ Lead Partner of the firm. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Business Leadership from Pan Africa Christian University, Nairobi. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (Reg. No. 849).
Before joining KKCO East Africa as a partner in 1985, he worked as a Senior Audit Manager, with Carr Stanyer Sims & Co, a medium firm of Certified Public Accountants in Nairobi. In this firm, he had a three-year all-round experience in management of audit assignments, supervision, taxation, consultancy, staff training and special investigations which included a High Court appointment to investigate a case of “Oppression of Minority Shareholders” in a major local company.
In 1984 he was seconded to an associated audit firm based in Blantyre, Malawi as an expatriate Audit Manager.
For 8 years, Isaiah Kimani also worked with the Kenya Cooperative Creameries, and was promoted to the position of Assistant Chief Accountant and was largely involved in computerizing the accounting system. He has also worked with Coopers & Lybrand (which has since become Price Waterhouse Coopers) where he rose to the position of Senior Auditor, in charge of a wide range of companies involved in trading, manufacturing, insurance and banking.
He is the Chairman of a faith-based company. He served in the Audit and Governance Committee of Daystar University Council between 2007-2016, and he was for 5 years on the board of Africa Enterprise International – a not for – profit – organization registered in the United Kingdom. He has served as a board member/ trustee in several public interest organizations including a one year term as a commissioner in the Presidential Commission on the Coffee Industry.
